Shopping in Monaco

Monaco is widely recognised as an international capital for the world of luxury. The foremost names in fashion soon set up shop in the Principality; “haute couture”, perfumes, jewellery, the most beautiful attire had found a perfect backdrop : the Principality of Monaco. The famous “Golden Circle” stands at the heart of the town with its elegant, de-luxe boutiques proposing prestigious labels.
In the narrow streets of the Old Town where sellers display typical souvenirs, in the gleaming shopping mall at the Métropole, Les Allées Lumières and the Shopping Center in Fontvieille, with windows displaying ready-to-wear,  items for home decor, leatherware and gifts… all you could possibly wish for is to be found in the Principality !

  • Monte-Carlo’s “Cercle d'Or” (the “Golden Square”, comprised of Avenue Monte-Carlo, Avenue des Beaux Arts, Les Allées Lumières)

In the Princesse Caroline zone, you can do your shopping in peace and quiet, in an area where pedestrians have ousted cars.

    While exploring the Old Town and its rich heritage up on the Rock, you will come across boutiques wher e you can buy a modest or more impressive souvenir of your stay in Monaco.   • Fontvieille shopping center
    The Shopping Center at Fontvieille combines elegance with practicality and a wide array of products ; in fact, with its large car-park and 36 shops proposing hi-fi, records, furniture, clothes and various places to eat, you will find all you need on an everyday basis around the Carrefour hypermarket and a McDonalds.

While it is especially enjoyable to do one’s shopping on foot in the Principality, don’t forget the fact that dozens of car-parks are at your disposal all over town.
