Located within minutes of the Medina and offering views over the Atlas Mountains, Jawhar Estate is part of a planned new luxury district in the Menara area of Marrakech.
Scheduled to open in late 2011, the 14 hectare Jawhar Estate (Jawhar means “Jewel” in Arabic), uniquely located in the heart of Marrakech, provides 25 private residences, a 93 all-suite 5-star hotel (Monte-Carlo SBM’s first resort outside of Monaco), a top gastronomic restaurant and a Wellness Centre and Spa.
Set in generously landscaped gardens, the 5-star hotel will feature a signature restaurant, by one of the world’s leading chefs, and one of the largest spas in North Africa. The resort will have an extensive function and banqueting space, a 100 seat private cinema/theatre and a young persons’ clubhouse. It will form an integral part of a new luxury district framed by the Menara Gardens that will provide an international shopping boulevard, deluxe hotels, cultural and leisure facilities together with a landmark museum.
A destination rather than a simple hotel:
- 93 super luxurious suites: Junior Suites, Atlas Suites and one, two and three bedroom Garden Suites with private pools. The two and the three bedroom Garden Suites are on two levels and can be sub-divided if required. The centrepiece is the magnificent 1,600m2 Royal Suite.
